During my first trip it was amazing to be able to see off the beaten path places like Iraq that are so rich with culture but it was also really lonely. I can now say that I’ve made about 90% of my friendships through social media, one of my best online friends being Drew Binsky. Even though we had never met in person, Drew and I bonded over our love of adventure and our shared goal of traveling to every country. Drew only has 6 countries left and even though the 2020 lockdown has slowed him down, he hasn’t let that stop him sharing more inspiring stories from around the world.
