Russia Holds ‘Yars’ Nuke Drills, Preps For “Chemical Hazard” After Putin’s Warning To “Strike” West

Russia’s Strategic Rocket Forces completed drills in the Irkutsk region, involving over 3,000 soldiers, Sputnik reported. During the exercises, Russian soldiers trained to act under conditions of chemical hazard or repel attacks from sabotage groups. The manoeuvres were centred around the ‘Yars’ ICBM*, a formidable nuclear weapon launched from a mobile platform. Armed with independently targetable warheads, the Yars ICBM can reach targets over 11,000 kilometres away.
