Ukraine Drones Hit Russian Border Regions, Crimea; Duda Says “Zelensky Under Enormous Pressure“

Ukrainian drones targeted Russian border regions and the occupied Crimean peninsula overnight, Russian officials said on Sept. 25. Russian Governor Roman Starovoit said several homes and an administrative building were damaged in the Kursk region on Sept. 25. Russia’s Defence Ministry said it destroyed a drone over the Belgorod region early morning on Sept. 25. Russia said that its Su-34 bomber jets destroyed a Ukrainian drone control centre in the Krasny-Liman area. Saudi Arabia has said at the UN that it is ready to mediate talks between Ukraine and Russia. Ukraine has claimed that the strike on Odesa is in retaliation for its own missile attack on the Russian Black Sea fleet headquarters last week. Polish President Andrzej Duda has said that he sees no problem with restarting the weapons supply to Ukraine.
