R 9600, the next generation of Liebherr hydraulic excavators sets new standards in open pit mining equipment. The successor to the thoroughly proven and iconic R 996B is based on the successful R 9800 and fitted with the most advanced Liebherr Mining technologies including Assistance Systems and Semi-Automated functions. In standard backhoe configuration with a Heavy Duty wear package, the R 9600 comes with a 37.5 m3 / 49.1 yd3 bucket.
