Follow ► The inspiration behind this video: Charlie Cox’s Daredevil returns in Echo, and the MCU may have already teased how the worlds of Maya Lopez and Matt Murdock will collide. While a Disney Daredevil series starring Charlie Cox and Vincent D’Onofrio has already been confirmed, the MCU has chosen to introduce Matt Murdock through small cameos across Phases 4 and 5. Before Daredevil: Born Again, audiences will have seen Daredevil at least three times thanks to Spider-Man: No Way Home, She-Hulk: Attorney at Law, and Echo. Considering how Daredevil’s first MCU appearances shared a lot of similarities, predicting how Matt and Maya will meet in Echo might not be too difficult. A behind-the-scenes look at Ms. Marvel shared by production designer Natasha Gerasimova reveals that the Department of Damage Control seen on the show would have featured a picture of Maya Lopez along with other potential superheroes and vigilantes such as She-Hulk, Jack Duquesne, and Mighty Thor. Even if Echo’s picture never made it to the show, having Maya Lopez wanted by the Department of Damaged Control sets up the character dealing with legal matters in her own series.
