Mozart | Lacrimosa from Requiem in D minor | Theremin choir and piano

I am delighted to share this transcription of the famous “Lacrimosa“ from Mozart’s Requiem, performed on the theremin – this very expressive electronic musical instrument that is played without even being touched... I played the four voices from the original score: soprano, alto, tenor, bass. The piano featured here is a very old upright Pleyel, built in 1879. An old friend of mine, I grew up with it, as it was by my grandparents. The video was shot in a charming village, lost somewhere in Corrèze, one of the most rural area in France, where my family comes from.
