Bodycam Footage of Police Shooting Amir Locke Armed With a Gun

* (Disclaimer: This video content is intended for educational and informational purposes only) * Minneapolis, Minnesota — The Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension released additional police body-worn camera video of a police SWAT team officer who fatally shot 22-year-old Amir Locke while executing an early morning no-knock search warrant in a downtown apartment. On February 2, SWAT team members executed the no-knock warrant on behalf of St. Paul police at an apartment inside Bolero Flats in downtown Minneapolis. The warrant was in connection with the fatal shooting of Otis Elder in January, and identified the apartment as one of three in the building connected to a juvenile suspect who is Locke’s cousin. But Locke himself wasn’t considered a suspect, wasn’t involved in the crime and wasn’t named in the search warrant applications. He was staying in the apartment of another cousin when police entered.
