The 1985 Individual Ice Speedway World Championship was the 20th edition of the World Championship held in Assen in the Netherlands. From the Soviet Union was Vladimir Suchov and Sergei Ivanov, from Finland Jarmo Hirvasoja, Jan Verner, Juri Ivanov and Sweden’s Erik Stenlund.
