Fearful Harmony on real PlayStation PS1/PSX (SCPH-1002) - High Quality Audio

I managed to get this with an Ubuntu CD on my mod-chipped SCPH-1002 PS1. The Fearful Harmony happens because the PS1 is tricked by the modchip to detect that it’s a PS1 game inside, while it’s an unreadable data disk, so the PS1 tries to run instructions it doesn’t understand, and you end up with an unstable system not capable of properly playing a few notes on its internal synth at the right time. Audio recorded with a VIA Vinyl HD 24 bits 192 kHz on the “audiophile“ RCA output with 75 ohms cables. 0:00 Startup 0:04 First boot sound 0:25 Silence 1:06 Fearful Harmony
