Andover, Kansas Tornado April 29th, 2022

Contact for licensing amessersmith109@ On April 29th, 2022, a series of supercells produced several tornadoes across Kansas. We captured the main tornado of the day which unfortunately caused damage in Andover, KS. Follow along on our journey watching the long 20 minute tornado from birth to death. Later that evening, some of my friends who also had a successful chase in Kansas, hydroplaned and perished while driving home in Oklahoma. Drake told his mom before the accident that it was the best day of his life. Nic was really excited to continue pursuing a career in broadcast meteorology, with an audition for OU Nightly scheduled this week. Gavin caravaned with me in my last chase video (Talihina). All three will be missed, and all three lived by the same motto: Never Stop Chasing.
