Spicy Garlic Bread | Emeril Lagasse

The is not your mother’s garlic bread, it’s Emeril’s kicked-up version! And it’s so good you’ll want to put it repeat! SPICY GARLIC BREAD MAKES 12 TO 14 SERVINGS 3 garlic cloves, chopped 1 large egg* 1 tablespoon freshly squeezed lemon juice 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley Coarse salt and freshly ground black pepper 1/2 cup vegetable or extra-virgin olive oil 1/2 cup chopped pickled jalapenos 1 cup thinly sliced artichoke hearts 4 ounces grated Parmesan cheese 1 long loaf French bread, halved lengthwise Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. In the bowl of a food processor combine, egg, lemon juice, and parsley. Season with salt and pepper. Process mixture until pureed. In a slow steady stream, add oil and continue to process until mixture has thicken and emulsified. Transfer mixture to a medium bowl. Add jalapenos, artichoke hearts, and parmesan cheese.
