Full title reads: “Home Front Heroes“. GV Man standing amidst the wreckage of his bombed home. VS MSs. and CUs. of Patrick King of the ARP (Air Raid Precautions) being greeted by small crowd and walking with a blind woman. He was awarded the George Medal for rescuing the woman from her blitzed home. MS & CU of Sonia Straw who won the George Medal for saving the lives of people during air raid. MS & CU of Sapper George Wiley and Lieutenant Robert Davies with the other members of the bomb disposal team that removed the bomb that threatened to destroy St. Paul’s Cathedral.
