In discussing his exasperation with Russia’s “unprecedented” and of course unprovoked attack on Ukraine, Joe Biden engaged in more than a little historical revisionism. Shockingly, the President said that since World War II no country had invaded another sovereign nation with 100,000 troops. It’s simply not done, Biden insisted! Except that it’s been done plenty, most often by the United States, whether while invading Vietnam, Iraq, Afghanistan or Iraq again. And Joe Biden himself voted for the last two!
