Boone County Sheriff K-9 Loki Funeral Procession

The funeral for Boone County Sheriff K-9 Loki was held on Saturday, January 16, 2021 in Belvidere, Illinois. Loki’s handler, Deputy Robert Rosenkranz, was conducting a traffic stop on Interstate 90 in December when his squad car was hit by an alleged drunk driver. Loki was inside of the squad at the time of the crash. Law enforcement officers from across Illinois and Wisconsin attended the funeral. Video by Asher Heimermann/Incident Response.
