The stars of #EagleFC44 face off after the conclusion of the press conference, ahead of the US debut of the promotion founded by MMA legend Khabib Nurmagomedov. The blockbuster main event between Tyrone Spong and Sergei Kharitonov came head to head ahead of a mouthwatering battle this Friday 28th January. Rashad Evan’s return to mixed martial arts, sees him pitted against Brazil’s Gabriel Checco. Spong; a multi-combat sports world champion, is undefeated in mixed martial arts, undefeated in boxing, and has picked up over 100 wins and multiple world championships in kickboxing. His return to mixed martial arts sees him take on the ‘Russian Paratrooper’ Sergei Kharitonov. Since making his debut back in 2000, Sergei Kharitonov has been a pioneer for mixed martial arts in Russia. The heavyweight has competed against a who’s who across the sport, holding wins over Alistair Overeem, Fabricio Werdum, and Andrei Arlovski.
