#removal of common #bile duct #stent

A 29-year-old female patient was admitted to the endoscopy unit to have a CBD stent removed. The procedure was initially performed using an Olympus gastroscope (Forward view), which proved challenging due to the difficult angulation. However, the plastic stent was easily removed when an Olympus ERCP scope(side view) was used. During the procedure, the endoscopist accidentally discovered the nodular pattern of gastric mucosa, characteristic of an H. pylori infection.
