On its original broadcast in 1977, this Christmas special of the hugely popular sitcom THE GOOD LIFE attracted 21 million viewers - the highest in its entire 3 year run. However, from its very beginnings in 1975 the series was pulling in over 8 million viewers, and by it’s third series those figures had doubled, with the episode ’Whose Fleas Are These?’ clocking in at an impressive 17.7 million viewers.
