Pig farm in China jams drone signal to combat swine fever crooks

One of China’s biggest animal feed producers has admitted it unwittingly violated civil aviation rules. Beijing Dabeinong Technology Group confirmed that its pig farming unit in Heilongjiang province had been using a radio transmitter to disrupted GPS signal in the area to combat drones dropping contaminated pork into the farm and spreading the virus. The virus hoax can be traced back to July, when Chinese officials said criminal gangs were faking outbreaks of swine fever on farms to force farmers to sell their healthy pigs at sharply lower prices.
