Threads of Colour - Mandelbrot Fractal Zoom (e652) (4k 60fps)

Exploring the Mandelbrot fractal quite close to the real number line. This video is rendered using the standard technique for colouring. Some interesting shapes like the thumbnail image appear during the middle of this video. You will notice that from about the 1/2 way point we seem to stay centred, and the symmetry appears to double every so often. You could generate this video yourself with Kalles Fraktaler, it might take a couple of days through, depending on your computer speed. This is the first video I have generated with a new CPU, the AMD Threadripper, and the speed increase is noticeable.
