ANIKA NILLES: QUINTUPLETS EXPLORED! Play Like The Pros w/ whelan drums

🚨 In this drum lesson, we are going to dive deeper into the world of quintuplets. These grooves are inspired by the amazing Anika Nilles and I hope that by studying this lesson you will be inspired to come up with your own ideas and also implement both of these grooves into your playing. From the previous lesson, we know that quintuplets are in groupings of five. We are feeling both of theses grooves in sixteenths and I’m counting by using the word university. If you need to please start with the hand patterns first and slowly work the bass drum in as you practice.
