In this lesson, you will learn how to understand telephone numbers in English. I explain area codes and dialling codes as well as special numbers such as mobile, freephone and premium rate prefixes. Most importantly I tell you how to say or pronounce telephone numbers. At the end of the lesson, there is a short listening exercise so that you can practise understanding them.
