The Turkish ambassador to the United States, Mr. Sukru Elekdag, has called for a crackdown on the activities of American terrorists in the United States following the murder of Turkish honorary Consul-General Orhan Gunduz in Boston on Wednesday (5 May). The Consul-General was shot at least nine times as he drove his car the through the Boston suburb of Somerville. A guerrilla group calling itself the Justice Commandos of the Armenian Genocide claimed responsibility.
