Barbra Streisand - MGM Grand - 1994 - As If We Never Said Goodbye Barbra: The Concert was broadcast on HBO August 21, 1994 and received a television audience of 11.2 million viewers and became the highest-rated musical event in HBO’s history. It was later released on VHS and Laserdisc (a DVD of the show was later released in 2009). A live album The Concert was also released in 1994 and was composed of songs from the New York City concert series at Madison Square Garden, where it reached number 10 on the Billboard Album Chart and was certified 3x Platinum by the RIAA. In 2004, Sony BMG released a DVD version of the New Year’s Eve Concert in Las Vegas entitled The Concert: Live at the MGM Grand which was previously unreleased.
