Mötley Crüe - Wild Side (Guitar Cover)

This has always been my favourite track from the band and I think favourite Mick Mars riff too. I used to try and play it when I was younger and found it impossible. That’s mainly because I used to try and play it in standard tuning before learning that they tune down to D standard. However, even with tuning down and finding out how Mick properly plays it, I still find it really hard. I think it takes me until the first chorus before I properly get into the groove of it but it’s such a fun riff. I also think there’s a couple of variations to it on the album version which I try and play also throughout. No solo or anything but it doesn’t need one, just straight up killer track! Love the swing Tommy puts in too. I know, I know, I know, it’s not the coolest guitar to be playing this stuff but it’s the only one I have that I can comfortable tune down for a one-off song :P You can find my other Mötley Crüe covers here - I am using a Hohner G3T (its got a decal of my fav movie The Thing) into a Boss Me50 into a Palmer Pdi-09 into a Focusrite Scarlet into my computer running Logic Pro X. I have a Patreon where I upload my notation notes for all my new covers and I am going through my old ones too. But I also provide custom notation and video lessons content there or at my bwmguitarlessons@ address. Please get in touch if you want help playing the music you love.
