In addition to the numerous crimes committed against the Serbs, the quislings of šiptar actively assisted the Germans in carrying out the Holocaust during World War II. Šiptar quislinz killed the civilian population (mostly Serbs) in Kosovo and Metohija. In the camps and prisons, formed by the Italian, German and Bulgarian occupiers, as well as the quislingese of šiptar, the non-Albanian population of Kosovo and Metohija suffered.
