ISS through telescope

ISS over Munich through the 80cm telescope of the Public Observatory in Munich, 9. July 2010. For all who wonder why the video sometimes wobbling and some parts are cut, please see the raw video of this pass: For more videos and information please visit: There are some comments, why the ISS is rotating in the video. There are two reasons: First, you can compare it with a car that is passing you. At first you see the front, than the side and at last the back. The second reason is the mounting of our telescope. It is a Alt-Az Mount with a nasmyth focus. In easy words, there is a field rotation during panning. Copyright: Huber, Lindemann, Nagel
