HOW to CROCHET SCRUNCHIES - Inspired by VSCO Girl Trend Hair Scrunchie

You can learn how to Crochet Scrunchies in this tutorial video. Hi I’m Donna Wolfe from Naztazia. Hair scrunchies seem to have quite a surge in popularity these days due to the VSCO Girl trend. A scrunchie is easy to crochet with 45 yards of DK weight yarn, a size F mm crochet hook, and a 2-inch diameter hair elastic. If you get one of those multi color cake yarns, you can separate it by color and make several scrunchies from it. You will need to already know how to crochet to make these scrunchies. Specifically you will need to know the chain, single crochet and double crochet stitches. These stitches produce a scrunchie with a nice layered, ruffled, lace, mesh look to them. My daughter Sarah from Reviews by Sarah likes these scrunchies. She laughed when I told her I made these same scrunchies for my own hair when I was a teenager back in the 80s!
