FS 022 Calling an EP “Devil” although it will most certainly conjure a smile on the face of any elctronic music enthusiast might come as a surprise, or even cause confusion. But let’s be fucking serious, when Boris Brejcha picked this title, he had probably no evil thoughts in mind but was rather daydreaming of one of his many shows that are known to turn any club into a diabolically hot sweat lodge due to the energetic atmosphere and ecstatic crows. So in the end you could arque that the title of his new EP seems long overdue. The name giving A-Side comes as clean and to the point as we know it from Boris Brejcha. A rolling beat that never looks back but marches forward, driven by pure energy and nifty as hell. Let the speaking devil suck you into this dark piece of High-Tech Minimal and join the ride for almost the minutes. Right from the start “The Darkest Night” reveals an even groovier drive that makes it sound unstoppable.
