Shooting a scale 1:2 reconstruction of the Quedlinburger Balliste

Shooting a scale 1:2 reconstruction of a medieval ballista. It is based on the only surviving example of an early 14th century ballista from the German town Quedlinburg. The lenght of the not preserved composite bow was around 350 cm. The bow of the reconstruction is around 180 cm long and consists of serveral stripes of wood covered with leather.
