You would need to first twist the red bottom of the inhaler in one direction (clockwise) and then back in the opposite direction (counter clockwise) until it produces a click. Now the inhaler is ready to be used. You would empty your lungs of air, then breathe in forcefully and deeply from the inhaler, trying to hold your breath at the top for up to 10 seconds.
