Full title reads: “Putney to Mortlake. The Boat Race. Cambridge win again for the 9th consecutive year - and a running victory by 5 lengths at that!“ Putney to Mortlake, Greater London. Long shot of the Oxford University and Cambridge University rowing crews going down the River Thames in the annual boat race. High angle shot of the boats approaching a bridge. They pass under the camera. Shot of boats passing out from under bridge, a group of men are watching their progress. The Cambridge crew are already pulling away. The race is being followed by launches along the river. Another shot as the crews pass under another bridge. The Cambridge crew are well in the lead.
