Bill Frisell - “Shenandoah“ (solo)

One of the Fretboard Journal’s subscriber exclusives for 2013 was this rare clip we filmed -- perhaps one of the only video clips online featuring Bill Frisell on a flattop acoustic guitar. For this session, we handed Bill a 1930s Gibson L-00. Within a minute or two, he pulled off this gorgeous performance of “Shenandoah” that is unmistakably Bill Frisell.
