Great Britain is in danger. Storm Agnes, high waves and floods

After hitting Ireland, Storm Agnes hit the UK with gale-force winds, flooding and power outages. The first storm of the season brought wind gusts of 79 mph to the village of Capel Curig in Wales on Wednesday evening. Wind speeds were 68 mph at Aberdaron, Wales, 58 mph at Glenanna, Northern Ireland, and 54 mph at Camborne, Cornwall. Agnes has triggered a series of Met Office yellow warnings for wind and rain across the UK, with damaging winds and severe storms expected at sea. The UK experienced flooding, transport disruptions and power cuts.
