Israel bombardment decimates Central Gaza City

A central neighbourhood in Gaza City was largely levelled on Wednesday after days of bombardment by Israeli forces. Footage filmed by local journalist Mohammed Dahlan revealed widespread damage in the Rimal neighbourhood which was heavily bombed on Monday, according to local outlets and Israeli forces. The Palestine Post reported on Wednesday “entire neighbourhoods” have been destroyed by Israeli airstrikes. A telecommunications company building and several mosques were among the structures destroyed in Gaza City on Monday. The Israeli Defence Force confirmed 1,200 Israelis have been killed while the Palestinian Health Authority says 1,100 people have been killed.
