Painful Seal Rescue

One of our more graphic seal rescues - the poor animal is entangled in several loops of fishing line, some of them are deeply buried in his flesh. The rescuers cannot simply catch, cut and release, they have to hold the seal down for several minutes and dig deep into the wound to remove every little bit of fishing line. It is very painful, the animal is scared and desperately tries to get away from the rescuers. The wound of the second rescued seal in this video looks sore, but not infected.
