1 km diameter Asteroid 7482 (1994 PC1) flies close to Earth on Jan 18, 2022 (video from telescope)

On January 18, 2022 at 7 o’clock this morning, an asteroid 7482 (1994 PC1) with a diameter of about 1 km approaches the Earth at a distance of million km and passes at a speed of 20 km/s. There is video taken from Hiratsuka’s home on January 18, 2022 (100x speed). 7482 is a stony asteroid, classified as near-Earth object and potentially hazardous asteroid of the Apollo group. Asteroid was discovered on 9 August 1994, by astronomer Robert McNaught at the Siding Spring Observatory in Coonabarabran, Australia.
