Incredible transformation: Landsknecht turns into Armoured Fencer

Last week trainings fell in between October and November, so my fellow instructors at HVN and I decided to do a one-shot training in armoured fencing. Of course I had to bring all my stuff along and that also meant I could record a couple of bouts of half armour sparring with longswords. It’s really cool, as it gets so bloody brutal when you do this with skilled longsword fencers, who don’t have to hold back on account of actual weak spots in the historical kit. I decided to add a quick little transformation video on how I turn a historical hard kit into something you can actually fence with without introducing safety artefacts.
