Taking cues from the 80s Bay Area scene, Teutonic Thrash metal titans, South American extreme metal sounds, and old school death metal giants; this EP screams metal in its most ruthless, aggressive, and no-holds-barred approach. Lyrically, Splinter covers ongoing sociopolitical issues to historical events, horror themes to fictional characters; there are many ideas that can be found in the music. Overall, the tone of the EP is confrontational and delivers cathartic thrashing!
