Frankie Goes To Hollywood, Eurovision Reunion 2023 Frankie Goes to Hollywood are an English pop band formed in Liverpool in 1980. They comprise Holly Johnson (vocals), Paul Rutherford (backing vocals), Mark O’Toole (bass), Brian Nash (guitar) and Peter Gill (drums) As a band, their first 3 singles hit the number 1 spot of the UK Singles Chart. Due to the provocative lyrics of their first Single “Relax“ they were banned by the BBC. They eventually split in 1987 due to disagreements in the band. Fans had always hoped for a reunion, but singer Holly Johnson was never interested in regrouping with his old bandmates. However with the Eurovision Song Contest 2023 being hosted in Liverpool the band agreed to appear and perform for the first time in 36 years.
