Woodturning - Blowfish Toothpick Holder | Danish Mid-Century Modern

Everyday objects don’t need to be boring! This take on a Danish mid-century modern design proves that. I was able to find two attributed variations of the blowfish toothpick holder. One from Arne Basse and one from Ernst Henriksen. There are also many other variations of the blowfish toothpick holder on the internet. My take on the idea holds more toothpicks than the originals, which also means the blowfish has more spines. Any woodturners out there interested in attempting one of these themselves will be happy to know that this is quick project that can be made from wood scraps. Toothpick holders in general are also terrific mini lathe projects. This is the first video I’ve done with music in the background.
