PSA: I do not smoke cigarettes nor do I support the promotion of smoking, the use of the cigarette was to pay tribute to the 90’s aesthetic and culture, as well as show the juxtaposition between beauty and toxicity (as in the relationship that Chris Isaak wrote about) the beauty of the ocean, mixed with the toxicity of the smoking! In 2015, I posted a cover of Chris Isaac’s ’Wicked Game’ on YouTube and never could have dreamed of the love and support I’ve gotten on the track over the last 5 years. As a token of my appreciation, I’ve put my own spin on Chris Isaak’s original music video from 1989.
