We open this weeks’ Dungeon Synth Sunday with the second part of Owlen’s nostalgic RPG video game soundtrack series that began with Barbarian in January. In this chapter our protagonist Midnight Watcher, introduces us to a high-ranking priestly class of an ancient Celtic culture, with a combination of animism, totenism, lo-fi ritualism and transportive fantasy magic. Released through Kajdum’s Tower, the album is available in digital and cassette formats, with tapes available in limited runs of jewel case and the label’s signature ultra-limited ‘wooden relic’ box sets.
