Landover, Maryland, USA - 1984 World Professional Figure Skating Championships, Pairs’ Artistic Program - Ludmila and Oleg Protopopov finished in 2nd Place overall. The Protopopovs were the ones who began the Soviet/Russian dominance in Pairs’ Figure Skating, as they won the 1964 and 1968 Olympic Gold Medals.
