Pre-order “Viribus Unitis“ here: out January 15th On their new album “Viribus Unitis“, DRAGONY present a fantastical journey through an alternate timeline, where the story of the last Habsburg emperors of Austria takes an entirely different turn, involving magic, demons, zombie armies and various historical characters in quite different roles to their real-life history such as magician Harry Houdini and scientist Nikola Tesla. The first single “Gods of War“ sets the stage for this story: The year is 1867, and Austrian Emperor Francis Joseph is forced to accept the terms of the Austro-Hungarian Compromise after suffering losses in the Austro-Prussian War of 1866. With the destiny of his empire uncertain, he questions whether his realm even has a future, or only its glorious past.
