Poland Demands US Nukes After Russia’s Nuclear Weapons Reach Belarus, Will NATO Agree? | Ukraine War

Polish PM Mateusz Morawiecki says his country wants to host NATO’s nuclear weapons in a bid to counter Russia. This is in direct response to Russia’s deployment of some of its own nuclear weapons to neighbouring Belarus. Last month, Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko said his country has started taking delivery of Russian tactical nuclear weapons. Lukashenko said the nukes Belarus is getting are three times more powerful than those used in Hiroshima and Nagasaki. This also comes as Poland is pushing ahead with a massive conventional rearmament effort that was accelerated in the wake of the war. Morawiecki’s demand comes after the arrival and shift of the Wagner forces from Ukraine and Russia to Belarus. Meanwhile, Russian Security Council Deputy Chairman Dmitry Medvedev said that nuclear weapons in Poland will pose a threat to Russia. Will Biden Administration give green signal to Poland’s nuke request? Watch this video to know more. #Poland #US #NATO #Russia #Duda #Belarus #Nuclearweapons #
