Philip Glass: Music in Fifths (June 1969)

This is my take on Music in Fifths which I recorded in my studio with electric organ, electric piano, clavinet and bass synth, exploring sonic textures through different combinations of these instruments. The tempo is around 180 bpm although I pick up the pace a little towards the end. This music surprised me with the intense drama that flowed out of it, which pushed me to interrupt the flow with a few dramatic pauses.
