France, wind 200 km/h. Storm Ciaran blows away roofs and uproots trees

Storm Ciaran hits France! On the night from Wednesday to Thursday, wind gusts of 200 km/h were locally recorded on the Finistère coast, and this Thursday morning in Brittany many roads became impassable. Wind gusts of more than 160 km/h were recorded by numerous weather stations in Brittany and Normandy, and even more locally. A number of municipalities set a new absolute record, including Brest with a speed of 156 km/h. Others beat their previous November monthly record, such as Ouessant (185 km/h) and Quimper (147 km/h). Trees have been uprooted and telephone and electrical poles lie on the ground. Roads became impassable due to huge branches, poles or downed cables. In Finistere, the movement of any vehicle was even prohibited until further notice. Many populated areas were affected by power outages. #france #typhoon #rain #Ciaran #flood #uk #volcano #earthquake #Ireland #disasters #storm #news #wind #England The channel lists natural disasters such as: 1) Emergency geological situations: earthquake, volcanic eruption, mud, landslide, landslide, avalanche; 2) Emergency hydrological situations: flood, tsunami, limnological disaster, flood, flood; 3) Fires: forest fire, peat fire; 4) Meteorological emergencies: Tornado, Cyclone, Blizzard, Hail, Drought, Tornado, Hail, Hurricane, Tsunami, Storm, Thunderstorm, Storm.
