I wanted to make a fun video of “The Fox“ by Ylvis so I got together my friends Rebecca Lynn Howard and Jenee Fleenor. You probably already know who Rebecca Lynn Howard is from her smash song “Forgive“ and Jenee Fleenor, who is in the Blake Shelton band, & is one of the most talented people I know. I gathered a couple of my band mates, Jason Hoffman and Glen Mitchell and set off to do something unique! I had never done anything like this before, but I knew doing a standard cover wasn’t going to be enough and decided on doing a three party harmony, bluegrass music version. The video starts off with fiddle and ganjo, (banjo). It then kicks off with upright bass and acoustic guitar along with us three girls singing “what does the fox say“ and a cameo of Michael J. Fox. I wanted to have funny pictures of the lyrics pop up, so I searched for dog, cat, bird, mouse, cow, frog, elephant, duck, fish, seal and added a special picture her of the artist Seal, followed by another cameo of Jamie Foxx. We then get into the chorus, featuring everything from dancing to telephone’s to bell’s to another cameo of Gollum from Lord of The Rings. We then continue the Ridiculousness with cameo’s of Red Fox, Batman and Robin, a Pow Wow, & more cameo’s from Megan Fox, Heidi Klum, Heidi Fleiss and a garden hoe. But it doesn’t stop Fox, The General Lee with Luke and Bo from the Dukes of Hazard and Jake Owen also stop by! We then continue with pictures of a Fox in a sweater and a few pictures of Fox’s with blue eyes and tiny paws chasing mice, followed by an appearance from Elmo. The friendly horse Mr. Ed stops by while we break into Morse Code. Fox Mulder, AKA David Duchovny, pops in and Matthew Fox from Lost comes by as well. We then take a trip to Stonehenge and find Ken and Barbie hiding in the woods to get away from the kitten under the hat and make sure Sherlock Holmes doesn’t find them. We then end with a fox on a slide and a secret wave from me! Hope you enjoy the video and please “Like“ & “Subscribe“
