Performance of a mildly humorous song by the St. David’s Singers. Introductory intertitle reads: “Once upon a time a Composer made up a song of musical phrases and ejaculations - a jest of note so to speak!“ The story title follows the above: “Today Pathe Pictorial presents the famous Welsh Choir - the St David’s singers in their harmonious translation of same.“ Camera pulls back to show the St David’s Singers with a pianist and conductor in the foreground. They sing something apparently called “Italian Salad“. As they sing their song the camera slowly moves closer. C/U of six members of the choir. C/U of a piece of sheet music. L/S of the choir, the camera again moves away. C/U of the sheet music - the next page. C/U of one of the singers as he sings: “Bravo, Bravissimo!“ More shots of the choir as they complete their song.
