The CW pilot for The Flash films a crash and explision scene March 9, 2014

The brand new pilot for The CW program “The Flash“ starring Grant Gustin as Barry Allen (aka - The Flash) filmed a crash & explosion scene in downtown Vancouver March 9, 2014 in the early afternoon on a boulevard that is a major thoroughfare thru the area. It took considerable resources, including an 8 block restricted access set up around the area to prevent people accidentally strolling thru the set.
